Despite the inflow of midfielders on the eve of the transfer deadline, Archie Grey is expected to keep his spot in Daniel Farke’s Leeds United squad.

According to a report in The Athletic, Grey is likely to maintain his position away from Millwall.

This is because Leeds approved late deals for Werder Bremen’s Ilia Gruev and Glasgow Rangers’ Glen Kamara.

Of course, Kamara made his debut for the club replacing Gray on the bench.

And for Gray to retain his place at Leeds when the football club resumes would be a huge show of faith from Farke.

The 17-year-old has started every game this season under his new manager and it looks like that won’t change.

Of course, Gray may be concerned that the addition of players will mean his playing time will be shortened.

Since frequently starting the midfielder, Farke hasn’t had many other options.

Both Gruev and Kamara have played football at the international level, and they will offer much-needed competition.

Grey is likely to remain in Farke’s Leeds squad.
It’s obvious that Daniel Farke wants to have fierce competition in a number of his team’s positions.

The players who were least out of shape or who were not injured were prioritised when choosing the Leeds team for a long period.

However, there is already an excellent talent pool already, especially for the Championship.

Nothing more than the front.

Besides Joel Piroe, who made his club debut, Farke has Georginio Rutter, Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt at his disposal.

A shame of wealth.

And although Bamford has struggled to find fitness in recent years, all must be goalscorers at this level. Although most likely to play against Millwall, “excellent” Gray is currently one of the Leeds players to perform well, otherwise Farke will look to other good options.
