Georgia lineman Jeremias Heard became the fourth recruit to officially sign with the Vols in the class of 2024 on Signing Day, Tennessee announced on Wednesday morning.

Heard visited Tennessee multiple times since announcing his commitment to the Vols nearly eight months ago, including an official visit this past weekend, which allowed him to spend a laid-back weekend on campus before finalizing his college decision on Wednesday, the first day of the Early Signing Period.

The Class of 2024 defensive lineman from Model High School in Rome, Ga., told GoVols247 recruiting analyst Ryan Callahan that his weekend stay at Tennessee only made him feel more comfortable there, and he’s looking forward to signing with the Vols. He said he enjoyed spending more time with Tennessee coach Josh Heupel’s staff and some of the Vols’ current players,
