Milwaukee Bucks centers Robin and Brook Lopez are without a doubt one of the most popular set of twins to have ever graced the NBA. The fact that they are now on the same team (again) makes it all the more fun for basketball fans everywhere. A testament to this fact is how State Farm decided to cast the two brothers for their latest commercial. The premise alone is enough to determine that the new ad is going to be a hilarious hit.
The Lopez brothers popped out of nowhere in the commercial to provide some insurance advice for a couple in need. However, this wasn’t until the twins quarreled hilariously in front of the middle-aged couple. The best part of their brief dialogue has got to be Brook clapping back at Robin with the line, “best minute of my life,” when Robin points out that Brook was the older brother by only a minute. You have to give a lot of credit to the Lopez brothers for their stellar acting job here, which included their own rendition of the State Farm jingle.
These two may not be the greatest pair of twin brothers to ever play in the NBA, but they certainly have a claim for being the funniest.
