The Kansas City Chiefs may be the reigning Super Bowl champions, but Micah Parsons doesn’t see them going past the Wild Card round against the Miami Dolphins.

That might be a bold prediction considering that the Chiefs have always made it past the division round with Patrick Mahomes leading the way. In fact, in the last four postseasons, they have made at least the conference championship and won the Super Bowl twice in three makes.

Nonetheless, as Parsons pointed out in his The Edge podcast, the Chiefs are as vulnerable as they have ever been in the Mahomes era. According to the Dallas Cowboys star, the team’s problematic wide receiving group and their penchant for dropped passes could doom them. Of course the Dolphins have issues of their own, especially with the injuries they are dealing with heading to the playoffs. Nonetheless, Parsons is of the belief that they still have the edge over Kansas City.

“Losing Bradley Chubb, Jaelan Phillips. These injuries are just killing the Dolphins. I’mma continue to go with the Dolphins because the Chiefs struggle offensively. I’m afraid those turnovers, them drops, will cost them this game,” Parsons explained.

Micah Parsons isn’t alone with his sentiment, especially since the Kansas City Chiefs’ dropped passes are really problematic. They are second in the NFL in dropped passes with 40, trailing only the Cleveland Browns with 42.

The issues for the Chiefs is they have one of the greatest, if not the best quarterback in the league today in Patrick Mahomes. Unlike the Browns who lost Deshaun Watson to injury and tried various quarterbacks before picking up Joe Flacco, they have been blessed with a healthy Mahomes throughout the campaign.
