How Leicester City line up at the King Power Stadium as Abdul Fatawu, Ricardo Pereira, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Wilfred Ndidi, and Jamie Vardy come into Enzo Maresca’s side

Abdul Fatawu was given his first start for Leicester City as Enzo Maresca made five changes against Bristol City.

Fatawu, who impressed as a substitute on his City debut at the King Power Stadium against Hull, came into the starting eleven after two more appearances off the bench in previous away wins. Southampton and Norwich. He replaced Kasey McAteer on the right wing, the academy graduate had to sit on the bench despite scoring in his last two outings.

Other changes were expected. Ricardo Pereira returns to the team in place of Hamza Choudhury, while Wilfred Ndidi and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall return to midfield, with Cesare Casadei and Yunus Akgun dropping out. Jamie Vardy is the captain up front, with Kelechi Iheanacho on the bench.

There are changes between the replacements. Marc Albrighton, absent for the last two matches, will return to action with the manager who signed him from City, Nigel Pearson. There is no place for Patson Daka.

Hermansen; Ricardo; Faes; Vestergaard; Doyle; Winks; Ndidi; Dewsbury-Hall; Fatawu; Vardy; and Mavididi make up the City (4-3-3) defence. Stolarczyk, Coady, Justin, Choudhury, Casadei, Yunus, Albrighton, McAteer, and Iheanacho are available as substitutes.
