Monday’s marquee matchup against the New York Knicks may have not gone according to plan for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Be that as it may, this has done little to dampen the holiday cheer for the former back-to-back MVP.

Giannis, who finished with 32 points in his team’s 129-122 loss to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, made sure to still send out a gleeful Christmas greeting shortly after the final buzzer. It would have been great if the Bucks came out with a win on Christmas Day, but it is clear that for Giannis, the more important things in life still stand out during this festive season. The Milwaukee talisman took to Twitter to send out his Christmas greeting to anyone and everyone out there:

Unfortunately for Antetokounmpo, the demands of being an NBA superstar prevented him from celebrating Christmas at home with his family. The Bucks are currently on a four-game road trip that started on Saturday in New York.

They have two more games coming up: against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday followed by a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

It’s only after Friday’s bout in Cleveland that Giannis and the Bucks finally get to return home to Milwaukee. At least they get to spend New Year’s Eve at home with their respective families.

They won’t be able to stay up too late, though, with a New Year’s Day matchup against the Indiana Pacers looming.

Needless to say, it’s a very busy holiday season for the Bucks.
