If there is one thing we can always count on Draymond Green for, it is to freely speak his mind, especially when it pertains to the Golden State Warriors struggles. Recently returning from his suspension, Green is looking to help change the Warriors’ recent misfortunes, as the team has dropped eight of their last 11 games and are rapidly sinking in the Western Conference standings. As a result, the Warriors have been involved in numerous trade rumors through the weeks.
From ideas pertaining to Golden State pursuing big names on the market to the possibility of everyone not named Stephen Curry being on the trade block, Green and the Warriors have heard all the noise. However, Green doesn’t appear to be bothered by all of the trade chatter going on, especially since he has faith in what they can achieve.
Currently 18-22 on the season, it wouldn’t be a shock to anyone to see the Warriors make some type of change at the trade deadline. Their plan to compete for championships now while also building for the future has seemed to blow up, plus Golden State is currently outside of the play-in region of the Western Conference standings.
Whether they look to deal for a big name on the trade block or attempt to add experienced depth, the Warriors are evaluating all of their options.
