West Ham are looking to sell centre-back Flynn Downes in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are in talks with newly promoted Southampton over the sale of the 25-year-old midfielder, according to a report in The Times.
Downes joined the Saints on loan last summer and helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
The South Coast club are now keen to sign him permanently this summer.
The report (June 21) did not reveal financial details, but West Ham could demand a sizeable transfer fee, as the midfielder is under contract with the London club until 2027.
West Ham paid around £12 million to sign Downes from Swansea City in the summer of 2022.
He made 35 appearances in his first season, but David Moyes believes he is surplus to requirements.
