Tyrese Haliburton is available for Game One.

The Indiana Pacers play Game 1 of their second-round playoff series against Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Monday evening at Madison Square Garden.

The Pacers will open with their best player, All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who has been promoted to available status.

Haliburton had another strong regular season, averaging 20.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 10.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 47.7% from the field and 36.4% from three in 69 games.

The Pacers are the Eastern Conference’s sixth seed, with a 47-35 record.

They are participating in the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2020 season.

The Knicks are the Eastern Conference’s second seed, with a record of 50-32.

They are in the NBA playoffs for the second year in a row, having lost in the second round to the Miami Heat in six games last season.

Game 2 of the series will take place on Wednesday evening (again at Madison Square Garden).

Whoever wins the series advances to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they will face either the Boston Celtics or the Cleveland Cavaliers.
