With a disappointing 1-4 record this season, the Denver Broncos have all but extinguished their playoff aspirations, unless something truly miraculous happens. Consequently, it appears the Broncos are gearing up for the seasons ahead.

An ESPN report has indicated that the Broncos are willing to entertain offers for wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, as well as unspecified players on their defense. However, star cornerback Patrick Surtain II and quarterback Russell Wilson are not currently on the trade block.

“…It feels pretty obvious from talking to teams around the league that the 1-4 Broncos are open for business. They fielded a lot of calls on their wide receivers in the offseason and stood pat, in part because injuries thinned them out at the position. But teams I talk to believe the Broncos will listen to offers for Jerry Jeudy or Courtland Sutton, as well as players on defense.”

Given Denver’s less-than-ideal season, exploring trade possibilities makes sense, even though they may not want to concede the season just yet. Jerry Jeudy’s name had surfaced in trade rumors during the offseason, indicating there could be potential interest.

So far this season, Jeudy ranks third on the team with 208 yards from 17 catches, while Sutton is second with 229 yards from 21 catches, which includes a team-leading three touchdowns. The Carolina Panthers, in particular, have been identified as a team with a potential interest in acquiring a wide receiver, making Jeudy a possible target.

However, it’s worth noting that, as per The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Broncos are presently not inclined to trade “any” offensive players. This implies that, at least for now, Denver is not actively considering trading Jeudy or Sutton, despite previous interest from multiple teams dating back to last season.

At this time, it appears that the most likely candidate for a trade may be Clark, particularly since the Broncos recently traded pass rusher Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers. The NFL’s trade deadline is slated for Tuesday, October 31.
