The forward from Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports writer Michael Bridge, would cost almost £40 million. Additionally, he believes that Johnson is the player that Tottenham wants to sign before the deadline more than any other. Michael Bridge, a fellow Sky Sports journalist, has since provided an update on X that is encouraging for Spurs’ chances. Johnson has reportedly been pursued by Brentford in addition to Tottenham. West Londoners are now looking elsewhere, though.
