Daniel Levy has revealed for the first time he would be “open” to selling a stake in Tottenham if it was right for the club.

In an interview with Bloomberg on Wednesday, Levy confirmed that the club’s shareholders would be willing to sell the club if a “serious offer” was made.

“I’m not really interested in leaving Tottenham, but I have a duty to consider whatever anyone wants to put forward,” Levy said. “It’s not about me but what’s good for the club. We have 30,000 shareholders who own about 13.5%. We run this club as if it were a public company.

“If anyone wants to make a serious proposal to the Tottenham board, we will consider that with our advisers. And if we believe it is in the best interests of the club, we I will be willing to do anything.”
