The Bruins did not make things easy for themselves, and because they needed to go the distance, they had little time to rest and heal before facing their next opponent in the Stanley Cup race.

However, this did not preclude celebration.

On the opposite. Boston preserved their season with a thrilling overtime triumph over the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup playoffs first round series. After David Pastrnak’s game-winning goal at TD Garden, the Boston Bruins will begin their series against the Florida Panthers on Monday night in the Sunshine State. Prior to that trip, the Bruins had a great Saturday night celebrating their victory over the Leafs.

Fans of the Bruins should look forward to the next “Behind the B” episode, which captures much of their excitement. The Bruins’ cameras captured a mic’d-up Brad Marchand throughout the game and published a four-minute video highlighting the postgame celebration. If you like Black and Gold, this is a must-see.

That video has so much to offer, beginning with Marchand’s handshake line. We have a front-row seat to his message for difficult series opponents like Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi, the latter of whom Marchand has the highest regard. Jake McCabe encourages Marchand to beat Florida, a feat that neither the Bruins nor the Leafs achieved in their respective series last season.

The locker room celebration includes cameos from Bruins legends Patrice Bergeron and Tuukka Rask.

However, the party was short in duration. The Bruins flew to Florida on Sunday and will play Game 1 on Monday night at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. The puck drops at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, but don’t miss out on NESN’s full hour of pregame coverage, which begins at 7 p.m.
