LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 29-year-old man who was shot and killed in Louisville’s Algonquin neighborhood last week has been identified.

 

According to the Jefferson County Coroner, Dion Sutton was identified as the victim of the shooting on June 28 at 23rd and Algonquin Parkway.

 

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers were called to 23rd and Algonquin Parkway around 8:30 p.m. and found Sutton.

 

Sutton was transported to University Hospital where he later died.

 

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
