The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed offensive tackle Devin Cochran to a one-year contract extension through the 2024 season, the team announced Tuesday.

Cochran, who will be a second-year player in 2024, was originally a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2022. He spent his rookie season on Cincinnati’s practice squad, then spent the 2023 campaign on the injured reserve list with a knee injury.

Weighing in at 6-foot-7 and 310 pounds, Cochran first played at Vanderbilt from 2016-19. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2016 and then started 32 games for the Commodores from 2017-19.

After sitting out the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, Cochran played his final college season at Georgia Tech in 2021 and was an honorable All-ACC mention, starting 12 games at left tackle.

Entering the 2022 NFL Draft, Cochran was projected as a Round 7/priority free agent.

Cochran will now look to compete for a backup spot next season.
