The San Francisco 49ers made an emphatic statement in Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season as they went on the road to hand the Philadelphia Eagles their worst loss of the year.

The 49ers beat the Eagles 42-19, a lopsided contest that not many saw coming considering how good the latter has looked throughout the regular season.

The San Francisco offense was firing on all cylinders as each of the team’s weapons stepped up and made life difficult for Philadelphia’s defense.

On the other side, the 49ers’ defense played fast and free against the Eagles who surprisingly had little room to operate both in the run and in the pass.

Onlookers took San Francisco’s dominant showing as a sign that they’re Super Bowl-ready and perhaps should even be considered the favorite at this point.

Former tight end Greg Olsen has been impressed with the 49ers and believes they have the best overall roster in the league via NFL on Fox Podcast

Olsen expresses his belief that San Francisco has the best 11-player personnel on the field no matter which unit is up.

He also added that he’s a fan of head coach Kyle Shanahan’s system which has allowed Brock Purdy and the rest of the group to flourish

It’s hard to argue with Olsen’s point because of how well San Francisco has played since their bye week.

Their three-game skid in the middle of the year is in the rearview mirror now and they’re playing up to their potential as a possible Super Bowl champion.
