The 2023 NFL season was a tough one for the Cleveland Browns, with the team heading into the year with high hopes of living up to expectations as a legitimate Super Bowl title contender with superstar quarterback Deshaun Watson under center.

Unfortunately, injuries plagued this team all season long, with Cleveland simply unable to stay healthy throughout the grind of the regular season, as Watson and star running back Nick Chubb went down with season-ending injuries.

Garrett is as passionate as they come for an NFL superstar, and he remains as loyal as ever to the Browns franchise he could very well be named this season’s NFL Defensive Player of the Year for what he was able to do on the field this season.

In 16 games played during the regular season, Garrett racked up 14.0 sacks, 33 solo tackles, four forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

They knew it was going to be a controversial move and that they would face serious backlash.

They also knew they would have to give up a plethora of assets to get the deal done, yet they never hesitated to do whatever it took to get him there.

Now, reporter Hayden Grove argues that all the moves they’ve made to fire OC Alex Van Pelt and some of his assistants are all because of Watson.
