New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson torched the Milwaukee Bucks defense once again on Christmas Day with 38 points, four rebounds, six assists, and one steal in a 129-122 win for New York over Milwaukee. Brunson for the second consecutive game scored over 30 points against the Bucks’s defense.

Brunson and RJ Barrett combined for 28 of the 36 points in the first quarter for the Knicks in the game. Jalen Brunson shot 53.6 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three-point range. On the year, he is 26.1 PPG, 4.0 RPG, and 5.9 APG. Brunson’s PPG is ranked 13th in the NBA this season and this goes to show how valuable he is to the New York Knicks.

Brunson did not turn the ball over in the game against the Bucks. He told Stefan Bondy of the New York Post after the game:  “Needed a little bit more energy today and it showed, from start to finish. In the past we’ve had spurts where we had great energy and we made comebacks, we’ve taken the lead but we played with the lead the whole game today and just found a way to keep it.”
