Clemson Football received their eleventh commitment of the 2025 Class on Monday from 4-star safety prospect Tae Harris.

Harris is from Cedartown, Georgia, and plays at Cedartown High School. He received three Crystal Ball predictions from 247Sports shortly after Clemson’s March Junior Day early this month.

Harris’s decision has boosted Clemson’s 2025 Class to 3rd in the 247Sports rankings. They currently only trail Notre Dame and LSU. Harris is the seventh prospect to commit to Clemson in the cycle who is ranked in 247’s player rankings.

Harris had been flying under the radar somewhat until this month when he debuted in the 247Sports’ rankings at 125th. He is the 11th overall safety prospect.

Harris was once verbally committed to Georgia but elected to re-open his recruitment following changes to the Bulldog coaching staff that impacted his position. Clemson offered him a scholarship shortly after he decommitted in January.

Per 247Sports, Harris’s other finalists were Georgia Tech, LSU, Ole Miss and UCF. Harris is excited about his decision and predicts big things for the Clemson defense.

Clemson will be returning from Spring Break to finish their spring practice sessions, capped off by the Orange-White Spring Game on April 6th. The next big recruiting event will follow at the end of May when the Tigers will host several prospects on campus for official visits.
