The Italian transfer guru, taking to his personal Twitter account (6 January) shares that Southampton, Leeds, Hull City are all pushing to sign the Portuguese midfielder and Liverpool will make a decision on his destination over the next few days

The Reds want to ensure that Carvalho is guaranteed game time in his next move with Premier League outfit Wolves also asking Liverpool over his availability.

Romano posted: “Liverpool will decide on the best loan option for Fábio Carvalho in the next few days. Southampton, Hull City and Leeds all pushing to sign him — Wolves also asked for Fábio but game-time guarantees will be key.”

No.10 needed

Just ask any Leeds United fan heading into this January transfer window, and the one position they will desperately want sorting is that number 10 role for Daniel Farke.

Georginio Rutter has proven a very incredible outlet in the role over the course of the campaign but the Frenchman certainly needs help in the role if his form is to be sustained until May.

Everyone is fed up with seeing Leeds fall behind in games and Farke just throwing every attacker on the pitch, with no real plan to unlock teams in a low block.

Bringing someone in such as Carvalho would certainly help that, and potentially take some of the heat off the likes of Rutter and Crysencio Summerville in tight areas.

The Liverpool player has struggled for game-time at Leipzig and will certainly do with another back in England which will certainly aid his development.

But with Premier League outfit Wolves pushing, it may be difficult for Leeds United to pull off. However, guaranteed game-time will influence Liverpool’s decision so the Whites do have a small glimmer of hope.
