The Green Bay Packers suffered a brutal loss to the New York Giants on Monday Night.  After three consecutive wins to get back into the playoff conversation, the team stumbled in all three phases in New York.  The defense allowed 17 second half points which included an abysmal final drive that allowed the Giants to get into field goal range. The offense was hot and cold all night and Jordan Love seemed off from the get go. Following their loss, the Packers decided to bring in a new wide receiver

Pitts played his college ball at the University of Delaware where he was a model of consistency at wide receiver. Between 2019 and 2022, he had three season of 600+ yards receiving. In 2020, the COVID-shortened season, he had 29 receptions for 451 yards and three touchdowns in eight games. In 2022, his final season at Delaware, Pitts had 57 receptions for 631 yards and 10 touchdowns.

After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Pitts was signed by the Chicago Bears, but waived in early August. He was then picked up by the New England Patriots, with whom he participated in training camp. Pitts also spent some time on the Patriots’ practice squad.
