Injury updates for Everton and Bournemouth before their Premier League match at Goodison Park.

The pressure is on Everton to get a result before the international break when they host AFC Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Saturday (15.00 BST). It was a case of two steps forward and one back for Sean Dyche’s team last week. After victories on the road against Brentford and Aston Villa, Everton suffered a meek 2-1 loss to Luton Town on their home turf.

After the defeat, Dyche was furious because the Blues once again missed their chance to “change the story.” Prior to giving up two goals in the span of seven minutes, the first half included scoring possibilities. Even though Dominic Calvert-Lewin cut the deficit in half before halftime, Everton’s second-half performance lacked any true technique or originality.

Unfortunately, the Toffees have dropped each of their four games played at Goodison Park this year. The fans have lamented that performance after receiving a favorable sequence of opening home games that also included Fulham and Wolves in addition to Arsenal.

Everton achieved their final victory at the Grand Old Lady against Bournemouth. A 1-0 victory on the penultimate day of the 2022–23 campaign prevented Premier League relegation.

With just three points thus far and no wins to their name, the Cherries have likewise had a rough start to the season. Here is an early look at the team news for both teams before the match.
