innesota Vikings OC Wes Phillips was arrested for driving while intoxicated, Friday night, but will still be with the team for Sunday’s away game against the Las Vegas Raiders. According a team statement reported by ESPN, the Vikings said: ‘Wes immediately notified the team following his arrest last night.’This morning we contacted the NFL and after internal discussion, made the decision Wes will travel with the team to Las Vegas this afternoon. ‘We will continue to gather information regarding the incident and have further comment at the appropriate time.’
ESPN say Phillips posted a $300 bond and has an initial court appearance scheduled for December 21. Wes Phillips was arrested Friday and released early Saturday morning after he made bond and will travel with the team as it prepares to take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, the team said. The Vikings released the following statement:

He is a third-generation NFL coach, as the son of the great defensive coordinator, Wade Phillips, and the grandson of the late Bum Phillips.
