There was something clearly wrong with the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2023 NFL season because after a strong 10-1 start, they limped toward the finish line and were eliminated in the Wild Card round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was a strange turn of events for the Eagles, who initially looked well on their way to another Super Bowl appearance.

Moore is well-regarded around the league for his offensive system and made for a great hire for an Eagles team that is looking to unlock Jalen Hurts again.

Moore acknowledged that his top priority is to get Hurts back to being the two-way threat he was in 2022, via 97.5 The Fanatic.

“Make him a dynamic player again — Make him the player we saw the year before last,” Moore said.

Under Johnson, Hurts spent more time in the pocket looking to throw downfield but what makes him so special is his ability to tuck and run the football.

Hurts is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league and can be a difficult person to tackle when he’s on the run.

With Moore calling the plays, the Eagles should utilize more option and keeper plays to fully utilize Hurts’ skillset.

A bounce-back season appears to be in the works and Hurts should be able to reclaim his spot as one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
