Tottenham Hotspur may have just received a major boost in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho.

Spurs were linked with the Manchester United winger in the summer. Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport in July that Tottenham had inquired about Sancho’s availability.

Dean Jones recently told the same channel that Spurs could consider Sancho again in January – but only “really cheap”.

Now, according to Florian Plettenberg, the Red Devils player is likely to move early next year. And with Tottenham pressing, they could remove him from the initial loan deal at this stage. A Sky Sport Germany reporter claimed to X that Sancho is “close” to leaving Man United in January.

“At this stage, a loan is more likely than a permanent deal,” added Plettenberg.

The reporter also said that Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic is in “regular contact” with Sancho, but insisted that a January return to his former club is “highly unlikely” at this stage.

“The most important thing for Sancho is: he wants to play regularly,” added Plettenberg. Our point of view

Sancho was absolutely sensational at Dortmund, establishing himself as “one of the most exciting players in the world” ( The Guardian ).

However, things did not go well for him at Old Trafford, so a change of scenery would be best for him.

However, Tottenham have a top manager in Ange Postecoglou who has brought out the best in players who have struggled in the past.

Let’s hope Spurs and Man United come to an agreement and give Sancho a chance to get his career back on track.
