Attacker Jens Odgaard of AZ Alkmaar is a target for Leeds United.

According to the Danish publication BT, Bologna is presently in the lead for his signature while Leeds and Werder Bremen are both said to be “lurking.

Bologna is reportedly the lone party in discussions with AZ regarding a potential transfer for the 24-year-old, who only joined the Eredivisie last summer.

Given that they came close to signing both Nadiem Amiri and Joseph Paintsil last week, Leeds are obviously looking for new attackers.

Daniel Farke’s team, who has previously cited creativity as something he would like to enhance, will benefit greatly from the addition of another player who can play centrally in that front four.

The last day of the window is shaping up to be a fascinating one, and if Leeds can improve on what they currently have, the summer will have been a great success.

In his first season in the Netherlands, Odgaard—who is primarily a right winger but can also play as a central attacker—scored nine goals in 29 league games.

In addition, he scored three more goals in different tournaments, such as the Europa Conference League, and contributed six assists.

Leeds has an interest in Odgaard from Alkmaar
If Leeds will do any additional business after sealing the signings of Glen Kamara and Ilia Gruev yesterday is still up in the air at this time.

This interest does, however, indicate that Leeds will be on the lookout for any opportunity in the last few hours of the window, especially if Luis Sinisterra departs.
