The Cincinnati Bengals entered Week 13 as 10-point underdogs and came away with their first Monday Night Football road win since 1990, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime, 34-31.

In a game for the ages, quarterback Jake Browning and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase made NFL history in the process.

Browning finished 32/37 passing for 354 yards and one score, while Chase hauled in 11/12 targets for 149 yards and a touchdown.

It shouldn’t be much of a surprise the Bengals need a historical effort to win this game, as the duo of Browning and Chase looked every bit like what had been done for the past two years with the Burrow/Chase tandem.

According to Jay Morrison, Browning is the first player in NFL history to complete 86% of his passes and throw for 354+ yards within one of his first two NFL starts.

As for Chase, he joined Bengals all-time great A.J. Green as the only players ever with three 1,000-yard seasons to begin their NFL career in franchise history.
