The 21-year-old will be out of action for at least a month, but could be out for around six weeks. Bad times. This means that McAteer is unlikely to appear in the big match against Leeds United. Although he will likely return for the games against Middlesbrough or Watford. Unfortunately, the reinvigorated Jannik Vestergaard will also miss the start at Preston as he is serving a one-match suspension. Maresca did not reveal any other recent injuries.
