Latest Leicester City news as James Maddison and Jamie Vardy are among those praising win over Southampton.
Former Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has joined his old teammates in celebrating the victory over Southampton on social media.
On Friday night, City defeated Southampton 4-1 thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy, Kasey McAteer, Wilfred Ndidi, and Stephy Mavididi.
Since the final horn, the players have been posting pictures of themselves on Instagram celebrating the victory. Former Fox Maddison also included a comment regarding the third goal.
Posting a picture of the game on a large TV screen at the Tottenham training ground, Maddison wrote: “What a team goal that is”, with three clapping emojis. He was watching as the team celebrated the third goal of the game.
Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall also had a tongue-in-cheek comment for teammate Stephy Mavididi. It was Mavididi who scored City’s fourth goal, but Dewsbury-Hall was open for a pass before the shot on goal.
Dewsbury-Hall posted: “Good job you scored that…” with a laughing emoji and a red heart. Mavididi replied with two laughing faces.
