Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will take on Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are in good form at the moment.

Spurs’ main goal this season is to finish in the top 4 in the Premier League rankings.

Liverpool is aiming to defeat Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United to win the Premier League title this season.

Spurs and Liverpool are playing great attacking football and scoring goals.

And Jurgen Klopp’s comments about Trent Alexander-Arnold before the match will certainly encourage the neutral side in terms of scoring in the Premier League match. Alexander-Arnold suffered a hamstring injury in early September and did not play in Liverpool’s last four matches.

However, the England right-back – described by Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham as a “serious player” – returned to training this week.

Jurgen Klopp on Trent Alexander-Arnold for Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur

Klopp has said that Alexander-Arnold could play for Liverpool against Tottenham.

The Liverpool manager told the club’s official website:

“Trent trained normally yesterday and will train normally today, then we have to make a decision.

“He will be in the team, I’m not a doctor so I can’t make that decision, but it looks like he could be in the team tomorrow and play.”

Good news for Liverpool before the Tottenham Hotspur match

I think Trent Alexander-Arnold’s return to training is very good news for Liverpool ahead of the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Now, I don’t think Alexander-Arnold will start for Liverpool.

It is unlikely that Klopp will include the England international in the starting lineup so soon after his recovery from injury.

However, I believe that even having Alexander-Arnold in the squad for the match against Tottenham is a boost to Liverpool’s chances of winning it.

After all, Alexander-Arnold is one of the best players in the world and could be able to make a huge impact as a substitute in the second half.
