As they go closer to acquiring Ibrahim Sangare, Nottingham Forest hopes to add another player before the summer transfer window closes.

Ibrahim Sangare is Nearing a Deal With Nottingham Forest, and He Will Have a Medical
Ibrahim Sangare, a midfielder for PSV, “just arrived” in Nottingham, according to Fabrizio Romano, to undertake his medical examinations before finalising a last-minute deadline day transfer to Nottingham Forest.

The 25-year-old midfielder is reportedly being acquired by the Reds for a transfer fee package of £29.5 million as they frantically need to expand their midfield options. The international player from Ivory Coast will now need to finish his medical examination and execute all the paperwork before the 11 PM (BST) deadline in England.

An aggressive midfielder who has excelled for the Eredivisie team in recent years is Sangare. In spite of mostly playing as a defensive midfielder, one of their most outstanding players from last season, he scored eight goals and provided three assists across all competitions. His primary responsibilities included winning possession for his team and offering defensive cover.

Who Else Has Forest Recently Signed?
On deadline day, Steve Cooper’s team participated in a few transactions and boosted their assault by signing talented winger Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea to a permanent contract.

After rumours surfaced that they had agreed to sell teenage forward Brennan Johnson to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the conclusion of the year, the Reds are reportedly trying to sign ex-Liverpool forward Divock Origi to bolster their frontline.

Despite all of that, Forest seems content to pay a high price for Sangare, a new defensive midfielder. The 25-year-old, who was dubbed “extraordinary” last season, could provide the team additional choices and depth while also bringing more grit and physicality to their midfield line.
