The San Francisco 49ers are early leaders from the fan votes for the upcoming Pro Bowl. A team that has an embarrassment of riches and that has the talent to dominate on any given Sunday, it is not surprising that so many fans agree that this San Francisco 49ers roster should have the most players in consideration for an upcoming Pro Bowl appearance. For a process that is still early at this point of the season, leading even at this point is a good indication of your likely Pro Bowl selection. While votes will still be tallied with input from the coaches and players, at this point being ahead is likely to lead to a weekend in Orlando.

San Francisco 49ers Top Vote Getters

For the San Francisco 49ers, four members of their team are leading for their position.

Fred Warner is the defensive play caller of this top-tier defensive unit.  From his linebacker position with nearly triple digit tackles, and a high amount of 8 passes defended, it’s easy to see how the leader of this defense is in the lead.

Trent Williams is the starting left tackle, having only given up one sack in ten games, it’s easy to see why many consider him the best at his position in the league.

Christian McCaffrey has been a do it all offensive player for the San Francisco 49ers. While leading the league in rushing, and putting up wide receiver production in the passing game, McCaffrey has a potential ceiling of being an overall MVP candidate.

Kyle Juszczyk is not only paying homage to and often forgotten position. But he is one of the most overlooked aspects of this Kyle Shanahan  run heavy offense. Being the lead blocker, and when needed, safety blanket, he commands the respect of all opposing defenses.

San Francisco 49ers QB

For some Brock Purdy is in lead contention to win MVP, for others he is simply a beneficiary of a stacked roster and scheme. Either what cannot be denied is that he is doing his job, and is of course an important aspect of this San Francisco 49ers offense. While coming in at 6th at the moment, here are some stats that would advocate for the second year player to receive his first Pro Bowl nod.

With a 70.2 completion percentage and 23 touchdown passes thrown, some are questioning his actual ability. However, what he has done best is taking care of the ball, having only thrown 6 interceptions. And while many consider him a small play ability arm talent, he is actually leading the league with 9.8 yards per pass attempt, which is a full yard more than the next closest quarterback.

San Francisco 49ers Attending Pro Bowl?

Despite having so many Pro Bowl worthy vote getters, chances are very good that their players will be in a different destination city in February. As Super Bowl participants are always  busy getting ready for the championship, chances are that this San Francisco 49ers roster will leave a lot of voids and room for Pro Bowl alternate selections while preparing for their Las Vegas matchup.
