West Ham has been performing the “divvering Dave” routine in anticipation of offering free agency Jesse Lingard a short term deal.
When his contract at United expired, Lingard passed on Hammers, where he had an impressive loan stint, in order to “feel the love” by joining Nottingham Forest, even though it had seemed certain that he would reunite with David Moyes.
The midfielder had even reclaimed his England spot after his stint at West Ham, but he opted to head back to Manchester to compete for a spot, which, sadly, caused his career to take a downward turn.
