Daniel Farke has taken over as Leeds United’s head coach, and Junior Firpo has provided an update on his knee ailment.

Junior Firpo claims that after missing time with an injury, he is nearing a comeback for Leeds United. Due to a knee injury, the former Barcelona full-back has yet to play this season. However, he is poised to give Farke a huge lift by acting as if he has just signed a new contract.

The 27-year-old Firpo was supposed to remain sidelined until September as a result of his injury, and the most recent information from the player himself indicates there have been no delays in his recuperation. He stated, “Right now I feel very good, I have almost fully recovered from my last injury, and I really want to play with the team again.” to Momento Deportivo.

Outside of club obligations, Firpo has talked about his international affiliation. The defender, who was raised in Spain but was born in the Dominican Republic, has played youth football for the former world champions.

Firpo has declined to make a commitment in any case, but he has left the door open for a future call-up for his native country. “Of course I have followed it,” he continued. I regularly keep up with the sporting activities in the Dominican Republic. Last but not least, I was born there, my entire family is Dominican, and I pride myself on all the Dominican Republic accomplishes in sports, which is what I devote my life to.
