Jordan Henderson and Mo Salah have discussed Saudi Arabia.

Jordan Henderson acknowledges spoken with Mohamed Salah, a star for Liverpool, about Saudi Arabia. Henderson has shown support for the prospect of the Egyptian joining him in the Saudi Pro League, and Al-Ittihad is apparently planning a world-record £215 million offer for the Reds winger.

Henderson’s decision to leave Liverpool for Al-Ettifaq earlier in the summer shocked the public. The veteran reconnected with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, who had recently been named as the new head coach of the Saudi team.

“I haven’t spoken to him about the [transfer] situation,” Henderson stated to The Athletic’s report. “Of course, I only spoke to him briefly over the past week or so when he inquired about my well-being, whether everything was alright, how I’m adjusting, and other standard questions. He has this sort of on his own now.

“Everyone will be texting and calling him, among other things. I guess I’ll just let him be… I’m not entirely sure what’s happening. I just pay attention to what the media is reporting on the submission of bids and other related topics.

It will be intriguing to see what transpires because he is a fantastic player and a fantastic person. Whatever transpires, he will have a significant influence, whether it be at Liverpool or in the Saudi League, or whenever it may be. Any team would be lucky to have him.
