Darwin Nunez, a forward for Liverpool, received high appreciation from Leon Osman for his contribution to the team’s 3-0 victory over Aston Villa at Anfield.
In the end, Jurgen Klopp’s team defeated Aston Villa with ease to earn their third straight victory of the year.
A shot from Salah and an own goal from Matty Cash gave Liverpool the three points after Dominik Szoboszlai gave them the early lead.
Nunez contributed to Liverpool’s second goal as his shot bounced off the post, hit Cash, and then found the back of the net.
As he reported on the game for BBC Radio 5 Live, Osman said of Darwin Nunez, “He was as good as I’ve seen him.”
Liverpool paid £64 million to recruit Nunez last summer; add-ons might have raised the price to as much as £85 million.
Liverpool got off to a rapid start, according to the pundit, as it only took them three minutes to grab the lead.
I think they started very well. All injuries occurred within the first 15 minutes. They really showed their quality and Aston Villa fell short of my expectations for them.

Liverpool are happy with their new campaign, having collected 10 points from a possible 12 so far. Szoboszlai spoke to the media after the match and insisted there is more to come from this Liverpool team.
“It’s always a good feeling to win, even away from home, but at home I don’t know with how many people I’m happy to score my first goal and there are more to come,” explained the midfielder.
“It’s always different, the first home game we didn’t start that well and we didn’t against Newcastle, so the main thing now was to go out well and finish with 11 men. We did quite well, quickly 2-0. and in the second half we also scored a gate.
“I stated that we obviously need time after the second or third game. Although we still don’t know one another very well, we are going to get better and better.
