The Whites appear to have accepted the Premier League team’s loan bid for the Colombian made in the closing moments of Friday’s transfer deadline, but there is no assurance that a deal will really be completed.

Although transactions must be completed by 11 p.m., clubs can request a “deal sheet” that grants them a two-hour extension. If the Cherries are to finish the transfer, they might have to do this.

Daniel Farke had anticipated seeing off the transfer going into the final hours of the window.

Manager Farke had already told the journalists that he anticipated the winger to remain at Elland Road for the remainder of 2023, barring “a crazy offer” earlier in the afternoon. For what it’s worth, Sinisterra reportedly told fans as much as he did when he left Thorp Arch following a workout his management claimed he did well in.

Leeds’ late-August predicament is around Sinisterra and Willy Gnonto, both of whom withdrew from play in an effort to compel action.

At Ipswich Town, when both players scored in a 4-3 victory, they both appeared to have ceded and been reintegrated into the club.

However, the issue with Sinisterra was that, after witnessing a number of teammates leave on such technicalities, his agent was still engaged in a battle behind the scenes regarding the interpretation of his release clause. Leeds had to decide whether maintaining Sinisterra would be worth the trouble.

The early afternoon response from Farke seemed to indicate that it was, but someone in the club seems to have made a different determination.

Ola Solbakken, a Norwegian winger for Roma, had been linked to Leeds, but that move may not be viable given how last-minute this transaction was.
