The Jaguars are getting ready for a party on Monday night at home, set to host “Monday Night Football” for the first time in 12 years, but will one of their hosts be there? Travis Etienne comes into Week 13 dealing with a rib injury, something that has impacted his play. The RB has come on in a big way this season, finding the end zone with ease earlier in the season. It’s helped fantasy managers and the Jaguars catapult their way up the standings, but what about Week 13? How should you proceed with the uncertainty surrounding Etienne on Monday night?

Etienne (ribs) is officially listed as “questionable” heading into Monday night’s game against the Bengals. The RB logged three straight limited practices, leaving his status up-in-the-air. There is optimism that Etienne will play, making the questionable tag a curious decision. Barring something unforeseen, this appears to be a classic case of gamesmanship from the Jaguars.

While that’s definitely good news, the RB hasn’t been nearly as effective since Jacksonville returned from their bye week. He’s failed to record 100 total yards or score a touchdown in those three games, despite two of them being good matchups. Etienne was on a tear before that, recording over 20 fantasy points in four straight games. On the bright side for fantasy managers, the Bengals have given up 394 rushing yards over the last three weeks and have showed no signs of recovering. Perhaps this could be the perfect get-right game against a struggling Bengals team.
