Callum William McGregor (born 14 June 1993) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership club Celtic, which he captains, and the Scotland national team. Scott has spent all his life in football. He became a Celtic legend and he was always working towards to the next game and the next goal. Even when he left Celtic Park he gave playing with Aberdeen a go before cutting short his stay up north and heading for the Fleetwood job. Speaking Broony told the Edinburgh Evening News: he’s finally enjoying some down time “I went straight from playing into management, I didn’t give myself four or five months just to chill.

“I will get itchy feet eventually. When that comes, I’ll throw my name into a few things.”Brown details how he and his former Ibrox rival Steven Whittaker tried to make things work at Fleetwood under challenging circumstances. Steven and me, we knew what we wanted to do,” he added. “We knew we had to make sure the sessions worked – and we planned them inch perfect. “But nobody tells you there are going to be injuries, that you’ll have people missing – then you’ve got a chairman going to jail!

“We still managed to take the lads to the fifth round of the FA Cup in the first season, the first time that’s happened in the club’s history. We finished 13th in the league and were going from strength to strength.“Even with injuries at the start of the season, we were still in every single game.It was a little bit of a shock when we had to part ways but it’s football, I’ve no problem with that. “Somebody else comes in, a new chairman sees a different pathway. That happens in football.”Scott Brown’s Next Move The former Celtic captain will 100% be back in football before too long, but is his availability something that should peak Brendan Rodgers and Celtic’s interest in the short term.

Brendan Rodgers and Scott have a great relationship from Brendan’s first stint at the club. It was the Irishman that really gave Scott’s Celtic career a shot in the arm and had it not been for Rodgers intervention, we may not be speaking about Broony as the Celtic legend he became. If Scott is available and fancies it, bringing him into the coaching setup at Celtic feels like a no brainer. He has a love of the club, he has worked under some top managers as well as Brendan, knows the way the manager likes to work and has the drive to push the players to better themselves.
