One of the most controversial plays in the NFL league has to be the “The Brotherly Shove”, the most debated play this season also called the tush-push.

In the past year, The Philadelphia Eagles have been very successful in running their version of the quarterback sneak. The Eagles’ “Brotherly Shove” version of the play has invited controversy around the NFL because of teams’ inability to stop it.

They have mastered the play to perfected to be the most unstoppable call in the NFL and are giving the Eagles practically guaranteed conversions on 3rd- or 4th-and-short.

The Eagles center Jason Kelce during his podcast, New Heights, commented on the reports that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wants to ban the play permanently.

He isn’t losing sleep over a potential ban of the Tush Push, and Kelce didn’t seem overly concerned about a looming ban.

In the past weekend, rumors came out that Commissioner Roger Goodell reportedly wanted to ban the play possibly injuries and fairness has been two speculated for why.

Kelce said on the New Heights podcast, presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment,

“Ban it. At this point, I don’t care. I’m over the discussion about it. That’s where I’m kind of like whatever. We were good at running quarterback sneaks before we did the push. I don’t think it’s a necessary part of it. It certainly helps, there’s no question about it. I don’t have the energy to care about whether it gets banned or not. We’re gonna run it right now because we’re good at it, and it’s effective.”
