The Philadelphia Eagles are making roster moves ahead of their meeting with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and in light of signing former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Shaquille Leonard. On Wednesday, the Eagles waived linebacker Chrisitian Elliss, who started in Sunday’s 42-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, signed receiver Greg Ward to the practice squad and released receiver Cam Sims from the practice squad.

Running back Brian Westbrook (Villanova), cornerback Troy Vincent (Wisconsin) and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (Missouri) are among the inductees for this year’s College Football Hall of Fame class. Each player had strong collegiate careers before becoming key contributors for the Eagles in the NFL.
