The Green Bay Packers have had a few former players who have gone on to have a successful career career covering the NFL.  Former wide receiver James Jones may be near the top of that list when it comes to public notoriety.

Recently, Jones had some choice words regarding new WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark.

James Jones has noticed Clark’s teammates not having her back, and he had something to say:

“At what point when will CC’s teammates stand up for her?? This is wild! #WNBa”

During the dust-up between Caitlin Clark and Sky guard Chennedy Carter, many professional ahthletes wondered where Clark’s teammates were.

Carter hip-checked Clark away from the ball, drawing an immediate foul during Saturday’s win over the Sky.

For many of them, the talk hasn’t about the play itself, but rather about Clark’s teammates’ lackadaisical response after the shoulder check.  Here is a video of the aforementioned foul:

The Fever have struggled out of the gate this season, winning just two games thus far.

The first overall pick in this year’s draft called the play “just not a basketball play” and Fever general manager Lin Dunn criticized the foul in a post on X on Saturday.
