The organization has waived the 23-year-old forward who will undergo season-ending surgery on his left shoulder following a subluxation he suffered on the shoulder during a Raptors 905 game on Dec. 7.Harper signed with Toronto as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NBA Draft. He played in 10 games for the Raptors, tallying 52 minutes over the last two seasons while spending most of his time with the 905. In the G League, he averaged 17.1 points last season with the 905 across 43 games while shooting 49% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range. This season, he had averaged 13.8 points, four rebounds, and three assists in six G League games before sustaining the injury. He’s the latest in a slew of injuries the 905 have been battling this season as they currently sit 1-10 on the season.
Toronto now has an open two-way spot they can use to bring in another developmental prospect.
