The Cowboys looked like the best, or at least one of the best teams in the league in their wins, but they were exposed again in a shocking loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
The offense failed to live up to the expectations and Dak Prescott had a crucial turnover with the game on the line, once again raising concerns about his ability to lead this team over the hump.
That’s why some people still refuse to give them the nod as legitimate Super Bowl contenders just yet, and why a win over the 4-0 Niners could finally change the narrative about them.
Conversely, another ugly loss to Kyle Shanahan’s team could take a big toll on their season, not just because of the record, but also because of the psychological toll it could take on them ahead of a potential rematch in the playoffs.
