Sandro Tonali, a midfielder for Newcastle United, was seen hugging former manager Stefano Pioli before Italy’s crucial Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine at the San Siro. Tonali was a teammate of Pioli’s at AC Milan during the 2021/22 season, when the 57-year-old assisted in leading the Rossoneri to their first Scudetto in almost ten years.
Just one week before their Champions League matchup, Tonali and Pioli were seen holding hands outside the San Siro, where Italy will play Ukraine this evening.
