Leeds United have announced the departure of Luis Sinisterra on loan at Bournemouth, but in return they have sought to sign Jaidon Anthony on an interim deal.

Bournemouth have brought Sinisterra back to the Premier League after being relegated at the end of his first season with Leeds following a summer 2022 move from Feyenoord.

Leeds have lost a number of players after relegation, including most of the rookies they signed last summer. However, Sinisterra’s departure went smoothly, necessitating the submission of a deal to the Premier League.

In the end, Bournemouth were able to announce a move to the South Coast on a season-long loan. Surprisingly, Leeds accepted Anthony in exchange for his own loan.

Sinisterra, 24, still has a contract with Leeds until 2027. Meanwhile, Anthony, 23, is tied to Bournemouth for the same period.

Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said on his official website:
“We are delighted to bring Luis to the club and I am confident he will be a great addition to our squad. “He’s a player who already has experience in the Premier League and also plays at the highest level in Europe, so we’re really looking forward to having him with us.”

Sinistera is the second Leeds player to join Bournemouth this summer after Tyler Adams has just completed a move to Vitality Stadium. The Cherries also disappointed whites by snatching their deal with Max Aarons from Norwich City.
