BRISBANE midfielder Deven Robertson has decided to stay at the Lions after turning down interest from West Coast.

The midfielder, who featured in last week’s Grand Final loss to Collingwood, has been weighing his decision throughout the season but will remain with the Lions on a two-year contract until the end of 2025.

The Eagles have expressed strong interest in Robertson, offering a multi-year deal to lure him west, where he has family ties to the club. His uncle is the former great Darren Glass.

Robertson has played 16 games this season for the Lions, taking his career total to 41 in four seasons with the club.

His commitment means the Lions have re-signed him and youngster Kai Lohmann despite both returning home strong.
