Jack Harrison, a winger for Leeds United, battled hard in August to secure a season-long loan at Everton, but the Toffees aren’t performing well right now.

The Leeds fanbase have made it very clear what their thoughts are on those that exercised their loan clauses in the summer to worm their way out of the club.

Having contributed to our relegation back to the Championship, they were all happy to head out to other clubs and leave Leeds in the mire.

What does Jack Harrison do?

Jack Harrison has endured a frustrating start to the season with his new club, after joining Everton on loan during the season, with David Ornstein revealing the Toffees’ plans to get the deal done permanently in due time.

Injury issues that have carried over from the summer meant that he hadn’t kicked a ball this campaign for Daniel Farke or for Sean Dyche up until this weekend.

In the meantime, his side are yet to win a game in the Premier League with just one point on the board.

No more worries for Everton?

Everton’s circumstances are as bleak as their problems on the field, with the takeover by 777 Partners taking them out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The Athletic can reveal that the Toffees have received a “substantial” loan from the new owners to continue building their new stadium.

The added cost of building a new stadium has exacerbated Everton’s dire financial situation, with monthly payments required just to keep the club afloat.

With more and more updates on the subject at Goodison Park, it makes Harrison’s eagerness to jump ship to another sinking ship very strange.
