CINCINNATI — Brad Robbins may be running out of time to stave off another punting competition from the Bengals this off season.

According to Puntalytics, Robbins ranks 30th leaguewide in punting expected points added, costing Cincinnati about 0.2 points per punt.

Robbins had a nice few-week stretch starting in October, but things have fallen back off to the low outputs he started his rookie season with. The raw numbers aren’t much better: 33rd in average punt distance (44.5 yards), 27th in net yards (40.1), and 26th on punts inside the 20-yard line (12).
