Louisville police arrest man for fatal shooting at Greenwood Boat Ramp

James Reece was arrested yesterday after police say he shot and killed Jayson Manookian Tuesday morning.

Earlier in the day, Louisville Metro police officers were called at about 3 a.m. to a shooting on Greenwood Road at the Greenwood Boat Ramp. A man who had been shot was found there and he died shortly after EMS took him to University of Louisville Hospital. Another man had walked into the hospital to get treated for a gunshot wound reportedly from the same incident. The relationship of the victims, if any, isn’t currently known.
